If you are looking for a high adrenalin rush on your weekends, how about river rafting for three hours of ten (Class III Intermediate. Strong eddies and current, requiring skilled maneuvering) and (Class IV Advanced, powerful but predictable rapids requiring precise boat handling in turbulent water). |
Bhimeshwari in Manday district is an ideal place for the wildlife lovers. The lush forest sheltered by steep valleys and scattered by little streams, invites large groups of animals and birds. You can see herds of elephants amongst the thick tree, deer, wild boars, monkeys, jackals, crocodiles, otters and even leopards! And of course, there are plenty of birds too! Heron, ibis, cormorant, kingfisher … have all made their home here. |

| Sample Itinerary: |
Day 1: Convene at common point in Bangalore, Three hour drive from here to reach Bhimeshwari, including a stop for breakfast on the way. Welcome to the “Cauvery Fishing Camp”. Refresh yourself, unwind to nature. Lunch is provided at the jungle lodge. Get guidelines, pros and cons of the activity and meet your partners and get into the paddling spirit for an adrenaline filled paddle run. Return for lunch to campsite. After lunch and relax and rejuvenate; enjoy trekking or flying fox or obstacle river crossing. After high tea and snacks; just take a lazy walk inside the sanctuary and return home after sunset. |
