The participants arrive in Manali. Spend the day exploring the town. O/N Manali |

| Day 3: Manali - Solang |
It’s an easy trail to Solang Valley. Solang is famous for paragliding in summers and skiing in winters. O/N Solang |

| Day 4: Solang – Tabo by road |
Drive from the lush green Solang Valley to Tabo, the headquarter of Spiti. |

| Day 5: Tabo – Poh (3330m) |
Spend the first half day enjoying the slow life of Tabo. Later, a short hike to Poh. |

| Day 6: Poh – Dhankar (3700m) |
The first day’s walk to Dhankar, located to the north-west, high above the left bank of the Spiti River, the initial 5 km are along the motor road to Kaza. |

| Day 7: Dhankar – Lalung (3680m) |
Today is a level walk, initially winding west around dry, south facing slopes with the wide valley of the many channeled Spiti River below. Spend the evening exploring the monastery complex at Lalung. |

| Day 8: Lalung – Demul (4300m) |
Today the trail requires crossing of the Lingti River. Once over the footbridge the route lies up the narrow valley of Demul stream. |

| Day 9: Demul – Langza (4300m) |
The trail will go through the Chame meadow (4400m). The path then climbs out gently to the upper catchment of the Kaza stream. Then the trail runs up the high ridge above Hikkim village offering superb views of the Chau Chau Kang Nelda. |

| Day 10: Langza – Kibber (4120m) |
The trail is a sharp descent into the gorge of the Shilla stream and even longer ascent to the small village of Tashigong. The 700m climb is killing but the reward lies in stepping on hallowed ground since His Holiness the Dalai Lama camped here for many days in 1983. |

| Day 11: Kibber – Ladarcha (4150m) |
The trail leads down to the Parilungbi Gorge. The path then crosses over a stream and climbs up the valley. Climbing gradually from Dumle, the path winds back west towards the Spiti River, bringing up Ladarcha in an hour. |

| Day 12: Ladarcha – Kiato (3950m) |
The last days walk takes one back to the main Spiti Valley along the Ladarcha – Kiato road. After a steep descent and then a steep ascent north on the far side of a ravine lies Kiato. |

| Day 13: Kiato – Manali by road |
Drive from Kiato to Manali via Rohtang La. |
| |
| Day 14: Manali |
Depart from Manali by evening. O/N bus journey |

| Day 15: Delhi |
Reach Delhi by morning. Trip ends |
